Frank Aurelio Gonzales, (64) of South Dos Palos, California passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 7th, 2023, reuniting with his late wife, Margie Arias Gonzales. Known lovingly to relatives as "Frankie" and "Papa" to his granddaughters. He was born on August 19th, 1958 in Gilroy. It was a running joke that his birthday was also on August 18th due to a mistake on the birth certificate.

When he was a young child, he began playing baseball and it became a lifelong love. He was a player for The Outlaws, Straw Hat and Pizza Hut. He moved to Los Banos in 1999 with his wife and 4 children after becoming a cheese delivery driver for the Gilroy company Talamo Foods. Relatives knew him as "The Cheeseman."

In 2010, Frank and his family moved once more to Dos Palos, where he lived the last of his days. He was always known to be selfless, extremely hardworking and committed to giving his children and grandchildren all that he could. Music was always a staple of the household and Frank made sure all his children knew what good music was.

He is survived by his 4 children: Tabrina (40), Samantha (33), Frankie (31), Victoria (24), his 2 granddaughters: Destiny (12) and Lilah (5) as well as his 2 son-in-laws: Eric (31) and Gilbert (31).

Services for Frank will be held on May 26th, 2023 with a visitation starting at 10am and funeral beginning 12 noon at Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy proceeded with a burial on May 30th at 10am at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
