Frank Fortino was kind, gentle, wise and dapper man with a sparkle in his eyes and a quiet charm that turned heads. He lived a full, happy and active life. Dad was still exercising and doing planks at 91. We were all blessed to have him in our lives. The world is not the same without him.

Frank Fortino, also known as Junior and  nicknamed "the Judge" was the 4th son of two immigrants from Consenza, Italy.

Preceded in departure of this life were his beloved wife Ruby, father Frank Sr, mother Rosie (Gallo) Fortino, brothers Joseph, Albert, Sandy, Ronald and his son, Richard.

But you really can't talk about Frank Fortino without talking about Ruby Stevens.

After returning from Trieste Italy during the Korean War as a private first class communications officer, Frank went on a blind double date with Compari Al Filice and Mary Jane Musgrove, moms best friend.  They made the boys tacos and the rest is history.

Frank and Ruby were married 2 years later and cherished each other for 57 years and beyond. Those years were filled with family, laughter, love, Italian traditions, work, camping and travel, baking Mustazzole, blending wine, marinading olives, growing figs, and his "lists".

Steve (Vahlya) Irene (Pete) Connie and Diana will miss him every day. As well as his grandchildren Nick, Daniel,  Adam,  Azia,  Leia, Corey, Kayla, Bella and Brandon along with his beautiful 8 great- grandchildren.

Sharing in our grief are all of his nieces, nephews, cousins, Comari's and Compari's, classmates, camping buddies and lifelong friends.

"Non ti dimentichero!" (We will not forget you!)
