It is with a heavy heart, that we announce the passing of Frank. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 23, 2023. Frank was born in Niagara Falls, New York and moved to California after serving in the Navy from 1963 – 1967. Frank was preceded in death by his own parents Gaetano "Charles" Bonura and Josephine Teresa Ferro. Frank is survived by his Aunt Fran Dye, Aunt Marie Pirastru, and Aunt Patricia "Corky" Ferro, his brother Vince and wife Barbara Bonura of New York, sister Darlene and husband Pete Maiorana of Messina, Italy, son Steve Bonura of Gilroy, son Joe and wife Stacie Bonura of Hollister, grandsons Brent, Logan, and Shane Bonura of Hollister, and numerous extended family.

Frank was a sensitive and kind man. He enjoyed the simple things in life and loved visiting with friends and family. Frank also enjoyed bowling, traveling in his RV, and being a member of the Elks Lodge. Frank will be deeply missed and always remembered. We invite you to join us in celebrating Frank's life on July 7th at 1pm at the Elks Lodge, 351 Astro Drive, Hollister.

Dear Frankie, I'm so glad I could talk to you one last time and that you were able to hear my voice. You were always a sensitive and kind person, always remembering my birthday and the beautiful cards you would send. Through the years I had wished that we were closer in age so we could have shared more growing up together. I was small and you were already grown up. I'm happy for the times that we were able to be together, even though we've been miles apart. I'm grateful we went to see you last year. You kept asking where did we want to go and what we wanted to see…just you Frank and the boys and Stacie. May you rest in peace, Til we next shall meet. God bless you. Darlene, Pete and family
