Florence Chris Gimenez

Flo Gimenez passed away peacefully at his home on April 11, 2026. Born to Chris and Mary Gimenez of Sunnyvale, California, where he lived most of his life. He was a graduate of Sunnyvale High School (’62) and Foothill College. He served six years in the National Guard of CA and Army Reserve. He worked at Hewlett-Packard for 30+ years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Cynthia (Cindy) Gimenez; his children, Gregory and Jessica (Greg); his precious granddaughter, Isabel; and his sister, Anne Fontaine. He was the brother of the late Tony Gimenez. Flo also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and an extended family who will miss him greatly. His friends, fellow campers, and golf buddies will also miss him dearly.

A funeral mass will be held on May 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Parish Church in Gilroy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice in Flo’s memory.
