Felisberto Macedo, of Hollister, passed away on February 3, 2017. He was about to celebrate his 91st birthday.

Felisberto was born in Fiera-Nova Portugal on February 8, 1926. He came to the United States in 1956 where he was employed in the construction industry for 29 years. Bert and his wife resided in Hollister for the past 21 years.

He enjoyed gardening and had a passion for making homemade wine for his friends and family for over 40 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Caroline Macedo of Hollister. His son and daughter in law, John and MaryBeth Macedo of Gilroy and his 3 grandchildren Anna, Peter and Luke.

Bert's generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will begin 1:00pm followed by a Vigil service at 7:00pm, Thursday, February 9, 2016 at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held 1:00pm, Friday, February 10, 2017 at St. Mary Church, burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
