Felicitas passed on to her heavenly resting place on September 15th 2012. Felicitas is reunited with her husband John Simmons and with her mother Dolores and father Gabriel, her sister Rachel and brothers Paul and Gabriel. Felicitas was born in El Paso Texas on June 9, 1919. Moved to California at a very young age to begin working with her family. She spent most of her childhood in Gilroy. She met her husband John in San Mateo CA and moved to Gilroy to raise their family. Felicitas worked for 15 years at Tri Valley Growers in Modesto Ca. She moved to Los Banos to be closer to her daughter in 1991. She enjoyed taking trips with her dog Muffin to see her sister Connie Alvarez in San Mateo. Felicitas favorite pass time was going to the casinos. She loved to sing and dance. There wasn't a family party that she missed. Felicitas is survived by her sister Connie Alvarez of San Mateo, daughter Linda Calleros and husband Lorenzo of Los Banos, son John Simmons and wife Bonnie of Brentwood, six grandchildren; Lorinda Sanchez, Lorenzo and Robert Calleros, Emily, Sarah and Hannah Simmons and three great-grandchildren Albert Jr, Anissa and Aidan Sanchez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be laid to rest on Saturday Sept 22, 2012. Funeral services begin at 11:00am at Habing Family Funeral Home, followed by a burial at St. Mary Cemetery.
