Evangelina Lopez was born on May 31 ^st , 1961 in Chihuahua, Mexico.  Despite her birth, this place wasn't where she called "home."  Instead, her parents made their way to Gilroy, California, where Eva's story and legacy live.

Growing up, Eva was exposed to the hardships and difficulties that come with being apart of an immigrant family.  However, this experience made Eva the true fighter that her loved ones knew her to be.

As the years progressed, Eva slowly made her way out of adolescence, married Robert Peña Sr. and had three children: Elizabeth, Pricilla, and Robert Jr.  This union not only resulted in the three aforementioned children, but to a prospering church, Victory Outreach Gilroy.  Starting with nothing, Eva and Robert pioneered this establishment where Eva contributed a bulk of her life to helping women who had been drug addicted, used and abused.

After the death of Robert Peña Sr., Eva remarried Adam Lopez and continued her dedication to God and the hurting women in Victory Outreach San Jose.  Aside from this, Eva also worked as an accountant for Fox Inc.  It was here that she exemplified a pristine work ethic, dedication, and true intelligence.

On May 14 ^th , 2017, Eva passed away surrounded by those who loved her.  However, her legacy lives on through her children: Elizabeth, Pricilla, Robert Jr., and Brian, her grandchildren: Alexis, Robert, Timothy, Ella, David, Milla, Stephan, Jude, Levi, Lily, Kevin, Matthew, and Alyssa, her husband, Adam Lopez, and those countless lives that she impacted by laying down her own for the cause of salvation.

She will be missed.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. at Victory Out Reach Church, 590 Shawnee Lane, San Jose, CA 95123 followed by burial at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy, CA 95020.
