Obituary
Eugene, 96, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2015 at Village Green in Gilroy, CA.
Eugene was born on April 13, 1919, to parents August Brandt of Germany and Elizabeth Britt of Poland.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Florence Gifford of Sheridan, Wyoming; brothers, Joseph, Richard, Alvin, George and John Brandt.
Eugene was one of 7 boys raised on a farm in Medford, Minn. He is survived by brother, Tom Brandt of Green Valley, AZ. Step-son, Arthur P. Sturdevant of Cheney, WA. and 9 step-grandchildren.
Eugene worked in the Aircraft industry, the Auto industry and the Space industry utilizing his expertise as a Master Machinist for companies, Douglass, Boeing, Teledyne and Jennings. He enjoyed reading, music, baking and gardening.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Our Lady's Chapel in Gilroy. lnurnment will be held at Holy Rood Cemetery in Seattle, WA. at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to Gentiva Hospice.
