ESPERANZA H. PUENTE, 85, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at St. Louise Hospital, Gilroy. Wife of the late Ermelindo M. Puente (June 17, 2009). Loving mother of Estella Cantu of Louisiana, Gloria Sumisaki (Roy) of Gilroy, Ermelindo Puente Jr. (Mary Ann) of Gilroy, Joaquin Puente (Lupe) of Gilroy, Ralph Puente and his late wife, Marjean, of San Martin, Genero Puente of San Diego, Robert Pente of Gilroy and Hope Pasqual (Eladio) of Fremont. Grandmother of 14. Great-grandmother of 15. Sister of Gloria Felan of Del Rio, TX and the late Carlos, Nicolas, Jose, Luis, Esperionna, Antonia, Milia, Adelia and Gloria. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Puente worked at Filice & Perrelli Cannery for 50 years. Member of St. Mary's Church.
