Obituary
Born in San Jose, California and passed away peacefully after a short illness. He is survived by his wife Lucille; children Jeff (Jennifer) Speno and Michele (Dave) Bennett; and grandchildren Lindsay and Brad Speno, Mitch and Sam Bennett.
Ernie grew up on an orchard in San Jose and later moved to Gilroy to establish Speno International in 1979, then owned and operated Mission Valley Ford for 29 years. He graduated from San Jose State and received his MBA at Santa Clara University.
Ernie was an active member of the San Jose Rotary Club and Amici d'Oro Club.
The funeral service is scheduled for 10am, Saturday, 8/29 at Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hope Services.
