Enrique Ray Robinson, (Erik), born on January 10, 1982 in San Jose, Ca., was the loving son of Vernon and Elvira Robinson, sister to Nana Robinson Shepard, and father to Enrique Daniel, of Hollister, CA.

Erik was a beautiful, kind, caring and compassionate person as a little boy and as an adult.

He loved boxing, MMA, basketball, yoga and collecting sports and toy memorabilia.

Erik was an avid RAIDER fan; he never missed a game and the pregame tailgate with his dad, Vernon, his Uncle Joe and Aunt Donna in his healthy years. His favorite basketball player was Shaquille O'Neal; Erik collected a lot of his memorabilia, as he did with his favorite baseball player, Ricky Henderson. He was really proud of the rookie cards he had.

Erik was also an expert toy collector especially Marvel toys. He had collected since he was about 8 years old and had a huge collection. When he was older he would sell some of his toys at toy conventions with his sister Nana and his dad. Everyday he would study about Marvel figures in books and on Youtube.

Erik enjoyed looking at pictures of family members. He always asked about what they were doing: his son, his cousins, uncles, aunts, his sister Nana, his nephew Manny and others. That was his way of keeping in touch with the family that he loved so much.

The LIGHT of Erik's life was his son Enrique Daniel whom he lovingly called "Little Erik." Erik looked forward to seeing him
everyday after school and hear how his day went. He was so proud of his son especially because he was a gifted musician, playing the violin and singing in a Mariachi, playing the saxophone in the school band, learning the harp from his grandpa Vernon and learning the ukulele. Erik would never have lived as long as he did if it were not for his INSPIRATION, Little Erik.

Erik was a very spiritual, Godly, young man. He was baptized by Pastor Leonard Asano with his mom, Elvira and dad, Vernon on the island of Kauai and lived in Hawaii for two years. Erik never missed Sunday service and many times he also went to Wednesday night service. He loved his Hawaiian family, the Asanos, with whom he spent a lot of time.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, 8455 Wren Ave., Gilroy, CA.
