Elsie Mary Macedo, 87, of Morgan Hill, passed on All Saints' Eve, October 31, 2012.
Born December 8, 1924, Elsie was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked as a teacher's aide for the Gilroy school district. She was proud to be a part of the Million Penny Project at Glen View Elementary School. She enjoyed square dancing, bowling, sewing, cooking, canning, and baking. Until recently, she tended to her garden daily and especially prided herself on her roses.

Elsie is survived by her loving daughter, Joanne, and son-in-law, Joe; devoted granddaughters, Jennifer and Michelle and husband, Justin; and the apple of her eye, great-granddaughter, Madison. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Clarence, and her sons, Michael and Stephen.

Visitation will be Monday, November 5 from 6-8pm at the Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, November 6 at 2pm at St. Catherine's Church in Morgan Hill.
