Elodia Perez Perales-Garcia (Dottie) was born on February 18,1946 in Alpine Texas Born to Josifna Llanez Perez deceased and Pablo Hernandez Perez deceased. She was the youngest of 10 brothers and sisters.

Elodia loved her family. She was the foundation of her family she was our rock, often called the peacemaker. She had three biological children and fostered many. She made an impact on many lives she and her husband Ruben where foster parents for 30 years. She opened her home loved and nurtured them and they will always be their children. She loved her family and spending time with family. She enjoyed going on family vacations, it was a must she always said, “to make memories”. She enjoyed vacations, camping and family reunions and all family events, she liked going to yard sales, shopping, and going to the casinos. She always made time for anyone that needed her she gave a listening ear without judgement. Elodia will be missed deeply and was loved by many.
