Ellen ended her long, courageous battle with ovarian cancer on October 31, 2009, surrounded by her family. Her warmth, care for others and love of life touched all who had the honor of knowing her. She was the loving matriarch of an extended family including her loving husband Mick Grundy, Daughters Stephanie Cowan, Rebecca Garcia, Amanda Jacobsen. Eden Leatherman and their husbands and 6 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in her honor Friday, November 6 2009 – 1:00 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home
