Beth passed away peacefully at home with family on February 5, 2016 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, teacher and friend. Beth's world revolved around her beloved children Sarah and Zach and cherished grandchildren Alycia, Kelly, Alex, Sydney and Morgan.
Beth was well-known among her friends and family for her loving, positive attitude, bubbly personality and quick, dry wit. She loved people, she loved teaching and she loved sports, especially her Los Angeles Dodgers. She was helpful and generous to a fault .

A longtime resident of Santa Clara, CA, Beth was born July 26th, 1953 in Burbank, CA. The third
of eight children of an aerospace engineer, Beth split her early life between southern and northern California, finally settling in Santa Clara to raise her children. She attended Saratoga High School in northern california before graduating from Granada Hills High School in southern california. Beth earned a Bachelor's degree from 5an Jose State University and a Master's degree from the University of San Francisco. She taught for many years in San Jose's East Side Union High School District, then left teaching in the late 1980s to work in the tech industry, including tours at Apple, Taligent, WebTV and OnLive.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Anne Georges, and her sister Michele. She is survived by her daughter Sarah (Andy) Adame and her son Zachary (Rhea) Scott, as well as her grandchildren Alycia Adame, Kelly Adame, Alex Adame, Sydney Scott and Morgan Scott, her siblings Terry Georges, Peggy Walker, Chris Georges, Ronnie Georges-Gallo, Patty Belanger and John Georges, her nieces Megan, Amanda, caitlin, Codi and Jourdan, and her nephews Peter, Shane, Radley and Logan.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Gilroy's First Baptist Church Hall located at 8455 Wren Avenue, Gilroy, CA 95020.
