Elisa Martinez passed away on Sunday May 9, 2021.   She is survived by her two daughters Regina Read and Marta (Ruben)  Trujillo, her four grandchildren, Ruben, Robert, Jacob (Emily) and Christine (Jonny) Dutra.  Also her six great grandchildren,  Jax, Militia, Ace, King, Dice Dutra and Allison Trujillo.  Her whole world was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.   She is survived by her six siblings, Philip (Becky), Gilbert (Sharon), John (Cathy), Fred (Pam), Richard (Barbara) Armenta and Rita Lawrence.   She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.   She was proceeded in death by her husband Joseph, her brother Tony Armenta, and her sister Linda Skiver.

A long time Gilroy native, she owned Mode-o-Day dress shop for many years.   Later she changed careers by going into the medical field.    She enjoyed cooking, knitting and sewing for her family and friends.  A memorial service is planned for a later date.
