Eleuterio Dominguez passed away peacefully surrounded by family who supported him throughout his illness, where he showed the same great courage and strength that he demonstrated throughout his life. Husband of 58 years to Carmen Dominguez, father to Eleuterio, Jr. (Norma), Felix (Gail), Martha (Jaime), Alejandro (Natalie), Rosie and Lorenzo (Griselda), all of Gilroy. In addition to his 6 children, he is survived by his beloved 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, brothers Cesario and Vicente Dominguez and sister Paula Delgado.

He was employed for 25 years as a welder for FMC until his retirement in 1988. He spent the last 30 years of his life in San Martin, enjoying time in his garden and with his family and friends. His strength, kindness and sense of humor will be missed by everyone who knew him.


Family and friends are invited to a Vigil on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 6:00 PM with visitation to begin at 2:00 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass Thursday, March 1, 2012 - 10:00 AM. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 11 First Street, Gilroy.

Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, 1000 First Street, Gilroy.
