Passed away in Gilroy after a lengthy illness.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Rocchi, grandson, Nick Rocchi, cousin, Jacquie Chestnut and her family. She was proceeded by her husband Ray, parents, Thresa and Melio Avancina, sister, Emma Moretti and cousin Laurette Ehrich.

Born & raised on Mt. Madonna where she attended the one room school house and was taught by her aunt. Eleanor moved to Salinas where she worked for Porter & Irvine Dept. Store and then Cook's Photography.

Ray and Eleanor raised paint horses until ill health got the better of both of them. She moved to Gilroy to be closer to her family.
