Obituary

Died in Santa Clara at the age of 90. She is survived by daughter Judy and Vic Podgorny, great grandsons Evan and Jackson Rodriguez, great grand daughter Aria Martinez, brother Al and Betty Gagliardi and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eleanor opened and owned Gilroy Travel, was an active member of BPW, ICF, WIT, VFW, American Legion; founder of Gilroy Welcome Center, Miss Gilroy Pageant; founding member of Gilroy Bonanza Days; volunteer for Gilroy Garlic Festival; Campfire Girl leader and was Gilroy Woman of the Year in 1971.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life at St Stephen's Episcopal Church, 651 Broadway, Gilroy, on Saturday, October 31, at 11AM.
