Edward Maier died in Lake Havasu City, AZ on August 22, 2025. He was born June 20, 1934 in San Mateo, California to the late Oris and Charlotte Maier. He had two siblings: Judith Heiges (Bob) of Union City, KY and predeceased by brother William Richardson.

Ed married Elaine White in Gilroy, California on February 1, 1959 and they celebrated 66 years of marriage this year. Ed attended high school in Gilroy and served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957. He is survived by Elaine Maier; son, Willson W. Maier of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and grandson, Willson Maier of Gilroy, California. No services are planned at this time.
