Edmund "Ed" Boni was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He passed away on November 26, 2023 at the age of 93 in Morgan Hill, the town he loved and had lived in for 77 years.
Ed was born in Plains, Pennsylvania on October 30, 1930 to Joseph and Leona Boni. His father had immigrated to America from Italy in the early 1920's. Ed was proud of his Italian heritage and learned to speak Italian as a second language.
His family moved to San Martin, California when Ed was 16. He attended Live Oak High School and met the love of his life Barbara (Eddy) at age 19. They married in 1954 and had two children; Linda and Robert. Ed was a wonderful father. He gave his children and grandchildren his time and taught them by example.
He had a long, successful career with General Electric. After retiring Ed enjoyed fishing in the Merced River, gardening, and traveling. He loved spending time enjoying his family and traveling with Barbara and their fun loving group of lifelong friends. He will be missed beyond measure.
