Born in St. Paul, Minnesota on August 17, 1956, moved to Gilroy, CA in 1961. Attended public schools and graduated from Gilroy High. He was a member of The National Guard.

Eddy passed away after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his son Edmund, Jr. and daughter Reyna and two grandchildren. He also leaves behind his mother Natalie Ayala, brothers Samuel and Richard and sister Barbara; five aunts, one uncle and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10am, Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at St. Mary Church.
