Edith, 96, went to be with Jesus on the 26th of December. She resided in Gilroy, CA for many years, after retiring. She was born in Blackshear, Georgia on a tobacco farm. She shared many a story about that era. She has left behind many family members in Georgia, great nieces and nephews.

She is now reunited with family and friends.  She was a wonderful person, of great stature. She loved her family tremendously. We that are left here, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, will keep her memories alive in our hearts forever. We will do our best to keep moving forward and providing for our loved ones, as she had always done for us.  Her presence will truly be missed, but our peace comes from the fact, that this isn't a good-bye, but a see you later.

We love you Grandma and are truly blessed for having known you. Until we meet again, we will always have you in our hearts and can forever visit our memories, which will bring us a smile.  She will be dearly missed.
