Born on May 29, 1944, in Gilroy, California to parents, Pearl Imogene Bruton and Kenneth Higgins. Donna’s life was a tapestry of love, resilience, and creativity. From her roots in Gilroy to her later years in San Jose, she embraced life with strength and independence that inspired those who knew her.

Donna’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children: Elizabeth Campos, William Campos, and Loretta Campos; her son-in-law Roberto "Bobby" Lopez; and her cherished grandchildren Donna Alicia Campos-Lopez, Paul Sanchez, Uniqua Naomi Campos, and Jaren James Campos. Among these bonds was an especially close and beautiful connection with her granddaughter Donna Alicia., whom she adored deeply. Donna carried immense love for her children—perhaps more than they ever truly realized—and this devotion defined her life.

She was preceded in death by two of her sons, Adolph Campos Jr. and James Campos, whose memories remained forever close to her heart.

Donna found happiness in the simple pleasures that brought meaning to her days. She loved dancing to music that stirred her soul and exploring flea markets where she delighted in uncovering hidden treasures. Road trips offered adventure and time with loved ones, while crafting became an outlet for creative expression.

Above all else, Donna cherished the moments spent with family. Whether sharing laughter with her granddaughter or creating memories with those she held dear, these connections brought fulfillment to her life.
