Domingo Cantu Jr. passed away unexpectedly on June 2 ^nd , 2017. He will be joining his beautiful wife Maria Carmen Cantu at peace in God's loving arms.

Born on January 31 ^st 1954 in Plainview TX, he made his way to California as a child. Eventually, he wooed his wife, Carmen, with those bright, green eyes of his and they set their roots in Gilroy, Ca.

Domingo was a hardworking, proud, simple man who loved his wife, family, friends, and his 1960 Impala. He was the go-to electrician for many and passed his extensive knowledge to his sons. He took great  pride in his trade. With a generous heart and an abundant sense of humor, he easily won his loved ones over.

Domingo is preceded in departing this earth by his father Domingo Cantu Sr., mother Ernestina Cantu, sister Angelina Guerrero, grandsons Nolan Michael, Gideon and Joshua Garcia.

He is survived by his five children Evonne M. Myers (DC), Deborah A. Garcia(Frank), Domingo Adam Cantu III( Gabriela), Eric J. Cantu(Krista), Crystal J. Cantu-Mendez (Eric) and his nine grandchildren Eric Cantu Jr., Cooper Garcia, Ava Mendez, Katrina Cantu, Eric Mendez Jr., Brian Cantu, Daniel Cantu, Roen Mendez and Victoria Cantu. He is missed, dearly.

Services for Domingo will be held as the following:

Rosary: Sunday June 11 ^th , 7pm (viewing 2-7pm) at Habing Funeral Home 129 4 ^th St. Gilroy, Ca.

Funeral: Monday June 12 ^th , 10am at Saint Mary's Parish in the Gymnasium 11 1 ^st St. Gilroy, Ca. proceeding to Gavilan Hills Memorial Park 1000 1 ^st St. Gilroy, Ca.
