Dennis Ackerman

Dennis Ackerman, age 81, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love.

Dennis was a dedicated businessman and entrepreneur who owned and operated D-J Tools, a wholesale tool company. A natural salesman, he took great pride in his work and was known for his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. His strong work ethic, determination, and gift for conversation helped him build lasting relationships throughout his career.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dennis enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He was a devoted fan of the Golden State Warriors and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his team. He loved going to the movies, listening to Elvis Presley, and spending time with the animals he adored, especially his cats and dogs.

Dennis will be remembered most for his sense of humor and his desire to bring joy to those around him. He had a knack for making people laugh and could brighten a room with his wit, stories, and playful spirit. His warmth and personality left a lasting impression on family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Dennis is survived by his son, Dennis Ackerman, Jr.; his daughter-in-law, Celeste Gehring; and his sister, Janis Davisson. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched.
