Two souls, finally united. Delores Jean Fortino, passed peacefully Sunday, May 26, 2024. Jean was proceeded in death by her husband, Jim Fortino; her daughter, Jennifer Hardenbrook; her son- in law James Maurice Hardenbrook and also her grandson, Michael Domenic Glass. She is survived by her children, Louie Dominic Fortino (Karen); Karen Jean Covington; Liz Glass (Dave); Toni Mintz (Ronnie); Sandra Fortino Gorman (John);
Grandchildren- Nicole Snipes, (Captain Ron); Rebecca Kraut; Joel Gorman (Jennifer); Luke James Fortino; Jessica Woosley (Matthew);
John James Glass (Kelly); Heihachiro Domenic Koyama (Lisa), Lacey Jean Gorman; Michael Domenic Glass; Gage Stephen Gorman; Great grandchildren- Christopher Maurice Rodriguez; Kaeden Glass ,Olivia Fortino/Szklarski; Jaxon Woosley; Jaede Glass; ,Jack Alexander Gorman; and Domenic Vincenzo Koyama.
Jean was born in Strouds, Oklahoma , April 20, 1934 to her parents, William Barker and Sylvia Blankenship. She came to California with her family in 1937. Her siblings were Bill Barker, Vivian Mangano and Jerry Barker. Jean was full of love for her grandkids, her great grandkids, and her children. She was active until recently in her church. She loved her ladies Bible study, and her friends. She enjoyed traveling with our father. She loved the Lord, and enjoyed reading her Bible. Mom encountered many struggles these last few years. but that never kept her down. Her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids brightened her day. Mom's day celebration of life, will be Wednesday, June 26 2024,at 11 AM, at South Valley community Church. We hope to see you there. Come and we will celebrate our mom.
