Delores passed away Wednesday, August 17th at the age of 89. She was born in Santa Clara. She was raised a daughter of an orchard farmer in Aromas. She was very proud of her Portuguese ancestry and family's business. She was married to the love of her life Zola Balla in 1951. She raised her two children in Gilroy. She was a busy homemaker and enjoyed cooking and being with family and friends. She loved being with her two grandchildren. Her Passion was family along with the love of her gardening. She was a friend to all and everyone enjoyed her happy disposition. In her leisure she enjoyed relaxing in her spa.
She is survived by her loving children Janice (Kenneth) Bettencourt and Gary Balla; Grandchildren Merle Balla and Alison (Michael) Borges; Siblings Evelyn Balla, George Netto, Madeline Brickwedel and the late Edward and John Netto.

Visitation will be Wednesday August 24, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, 1000 First Street, Gilroy.

Donations to the Arthritis Foundation (Rheumatory Arthritis Division) or to your charity of choice would be preferred.
