Delfino Mancera age 77 born on December 24, 1936, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2014 with his loving wife and family by his side. He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Juventina Mancera and his 6 children, Irene (Jesus) Felix, Maria (Ruben) Villagran, Roberto Mancera, Socorro (Jose Luis) Lopez, Serafin Mancera, and Arturo (Carol) Mancera all from Gilroy. He was the loving "pops" of 19 and great grandfather of 16. He is also survived by his 3 brothers and 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews. He is preceeded in death by his parents Espiridion and Maria Magdalena Mancera. He was originally born in Juventino Rosas, GTO, Mexico and has been a Gilroy resident and active member of St. Mary's church for 51 years. He is loved and will be greatly missed by many.
Vigil will be held on Tuesday December 2nd, 6pm at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 Fourth Street , Gilroy, CA. Then his last Mass will be Wednesday December 3rd at 1pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 11 First Street in Gilroy. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
