Obituary
After graduating Cupertino High School he attended college in Colorado.
Dave excelled in individual competitive sports; earning a green belt in Judo, winning County & State Wrestling Championships, and Professional Motocross races. He was a licensed plumber and ran his own company. Davy loved animals his entire life.
He is survived by his parents, Barbara and David Kopels, his brother, Rob Kopels, his girlfriend Yvette Barboza, and his 6 yr old daughter Kylie Kopels.
Visitation Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral Service Wednesday, October 6, 2010 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, 1000 First Street, Gilroy.
