David Ray Elston passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on Saturday, March 17, 2018.

"Dave" (as he was known to most) was born on July 28, 1960 in Watsonville, CA to Delphia and Orval Elston.  In 1964, the Elston Family moved to Longmont, CO where Dave spent a majority of his childhood.  The family moved again in 1974 to Morgan Hill, CA just as Dave was starting high school.  He graduated from Live Oak High School in 1978.

He worked at the Anritsu Company (formerly Wiltron) in Morgan Hill, CA for 33 years.  On November 24, 1984, Dave married his high school sweetheart, Debbie Zuniga.  The couple welcomed their first son a year later and twins in 1992.  Dave was set about teaching them the value of hard work and a strong ethic and will be remembered by his family as a dedicated father who encouraged all of his children to pursue their dreams.

Dave is survived by his wife: Debbie, children; David Jr. (Heather) Elston, Katie and Matt Elston, grandchild Phillip Elston, parents; Delphia and Orval, and siblings, Ruth Pickard, Patti (James) Tirado and Gary Elston.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to be made to the Parkinson's Moving Day Annual Walk in Dave's name.
