Daniel is survived by Rosa and Francisco Zaldivar, parents, Frank and Tracey, Raul and Jennifer, and Javier and Alma, brothers and spouses Aida and Lyle, and Irma and Sam, sisters and spouses and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

We are very sad to announce the passing of Daniel Zaldivar on November the 28th, 2012 due to complications from diabetes. He was born on May 24, 1971 to Frank and Rosa Zaldivar in Gilroy, CA. He formally attended St. Francis in Santa Barbara and graduated Gilroy High School in 1989. Daniels was the "life of the party" as he enjoyed cooking and baking for his family and friends. He was a die-hard SF 49ers and Giants fan. Daniel was truly blessed. He was born on May 24, 1971 and departed this life on November 28, 2012. He was preceded in death by his sister, Olga. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving family and many friends who will remember him as a dedicated son, brother, uncle, and friend. Danny will be greatly missed. Please join us for his viewing from 2-5 on Sunday, Dec. 2nd at the Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy, CA. His requiem mass will be at 10 am on Monday, December 3rd at St. Mary Catholic parish in Gilroy, CA. Danny will be greatly missed. Please support diabetes research.
