Daniel Cariglio was born on October 22, 1972, in Gilroy, CA. during the world series. Affectionately called Geronimo as a small boy by his grandfather, Papa John. Daniel the first born to his parents Marc and Coreen Cariglio, first grandchild to John and Blazie Misquez, Papa and Nana, and nephew to Patsy Lopez. Daniel grew up in Gilroy with his three sisters Rachelle Cariglio, Margarita Lara, and Marquette Cariglio, and cousins Ann Marie Lopez (Annie) and James Lopez (Jimmy). Being the oldest of the six grandchildren and having a special talent to tease, he had a knack of playing jokes on his siblings and being able to talk his way out of trouble, especially with his Nana. Daniel attended local schools, graduating from Gilroy High in 1991.

Following his graduation, he entered the construction industry where he was introduced to the mechanical field, becoming a member of the Sheet Metal workers local union 104.  For as long as his Nana was able to, she would make sure he had breakfast burritos wrapped and ready to be picked up on his way to work. In addition to his career efforts Daniel had personal interests. He loved sports and was an avid follower and fan of the Oakland Raiders, Oakland A's, LA Dodgers, and LA Lakers. Sports Card collecting was a hobby he started as a boy that lasted throughout his adulthood.  Daniel also loved music, specifically hip hop, R&B, and oldies.

Daniel was the father to Genavieve, Martina, Mckaela, Daniel, Mariah, Giovanna, Mikah, and Mya. Daniel was introduced to Meagan Rosa through family members, they were married in 2000. Together they raised their blended family. Daniel loved sharing his passion for sports with his children.

Daniel is survived by his wife Meagan Cariglio, mother Coreen Cariglio, his sisters, children, grandchildren, grandmother, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his father Marc Cariglio and Papa John Misquez.
