Dale Zamrok lost his battle with Lymphoma early in the morning on May 12, 2015. His loving wife Dar was at his side. Dale was born in upper New York state to Ronald and Elaine Zamrok, their youngest son. He grew up in upper New York and moved to California in 1980 to seek employment.
Dale worked as an engineer with NVidia in Santa Clara. He loved hunting, fishing, archery and everything to do with the outdoors. Dale loved people and shared much laughter and good times at every opportunity.
His son Shawn Dunn and grandchildren, Mason and Emma Dunn of Columbus, Ohio, survive him. His stepson, Brad Gonzales of Gilroy too. Dale married Dar, (Darlene), Gonzales April 16, 2007, at their home in Boulder Creek with Brad officiating. Dale and Dar moved back to Gilroy a few years before his illness. His parents Ronald and Elaine; older brother, Robert of upper New York State; wife, Dar of Gilroy and many friends and family will miss his zest for life and the adventures he shared along its path.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to animal rescue groups would be appreciated.
A memorial service will be held at Habings Funeral Home on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at 11 :00 a.m. in Gilroy. A celebration of his life will immediately follow the memorial at the VFW Hall located at 6th and Eigleberry Streets in Gilroy.
