Dale Boice Connell: Born 5-3-1914 on a farm in Alexandria, SD, died peacefully at his home in Gilroy on 3-18-2013. Preceded in death by his wife Ruth; siblings; Dorothy (Buck) Boone, Wilbur, Winnie (Bob) Gubser, Gilbert, and Glenn. He served the U S Navy in the South Pacific during WWII. Moved to Gilroy in 1947; was on the School Board, Elder of Gilroy Presbyterian Church, Rotarian, Mason, Real Estate Broker and friend to all that he met. His hobby was people and he especially loved children, telling them about life on the farm, business, and how to serve their community. He will be greatly missed by his family Larry, Sally, Tucker, Kevin, Tiffany, Sarah, Darcey, Dale (Allyce), Riley, Brenna, Suzanne (Dirk), Charlie, Jessica (Walter), Savannah, Shane, Colton, and Collin. Memorial Services will be held at the Gilroy Presbyterian Church at 2 PM April 13, 2013.
