Constance "Connie" Hope Salazar, (age 70), went to be with the Lord on February 7th, 2022, with her daughter and husband by her side and surrounded in the days before by her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Guerrero Sr., and brother, Jeffery Guerrero. She bravely battled cancer for nine years exhibiting immense strength, faith and positivity, the likes of which inspired not only those close to her but doctors, nurses and complete strangers she encountered.

Connie was born on March 9, 1951 in San Jose, California to Marion and Benjamin Guerrero. The eldest of six children, she grew up very close to her four brothers and sister. She always felt connected to her San Jose roots and was proud to be an alumni of Overfelt High School where she was a cheerleader.

She has four loving children, Vincent, Melanie, Nicholas and Julie and married the love of her life, Danny Salazar on July20, 1985. For the last twenty five years she has lived in Greenfield Ca., where she attend the First Assembly of God Church.

Throughout her life, Connie was known to light up a room with her beauty and kindness and had an extraordinary devotion to God and spreading the Good News to brighten someone's day and bring hope. Connie also added much joy through her beautiful handmade crafts, her DIY home projects, and by being a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her large family. She loved collecting vintage items, looked forward to her girls trips with her high school friends, and enjoyed trips to Monterey and Hearst Castle. Connie will be dearly missed by those she touched.

Connie is survived by her husband Danny Salazar, children Vicente de Leon, Melanie Kracht (Matthew), Nicholas de Leon (Anna),  and Julie Ayala (Charlie); Grandchildren; Vivien, Angelina, Sophie, Ethan, Leilani, Vicente Jr., Olivia, Santino, Katherine, Nicolas, Marco, Marley; Great Grandchild Issac;  Mother, Marion Guerrero; and siblings Benjamin Guerrero Jr., Ronald Mark Guerrero, Timothy Guerrero and Karen McClure.
