Connie, 77, passed away peacefully in her home on August 27, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She will be greatly missed and will be remembered for her devotion to her husband and five children.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Blundo.  Also survived by her children; Sheila, Tracy (Michelle), Gina and Randy Blundo, 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; Maurice and Marion Mitchell, her brother, Steve Mitchell and her beloved daughter, Shelley Loza.

Born in Gilroy, to Maurice and Marion Mitchell, Connie spent her glorious grammar school years at St. Mary's Catholic School and all her high school years at Gilroy High School.  Connie married Joe Blundo and raised their 5 children and 1 grandson. She was a dedicated, loving and caring, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was an extremely talented seamstress and loved canning all her fruits and jams.  Connie also enjoyed playing the accordion around the campfire.  One of her favorite things of all, was spending time with her family.  There are no words to describe how much she will be missed. Rest in peace. We love you.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, Sept 6, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church.
