Conrad, 83, of Gilroy, beloved husband of Noemi Lather for 59 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at St. Louise Hospital in Gilroy. Survived by; his wife, two daughters, Rachel Lather and Yvonne Hyatt, and beloved grandchildren Derek Hidalgo, Clare Hidalgo and Curtis Hyatt.

He was an active member of the Democratic club and many other volunteer organizations. He loved to ride his bicycle and could be seen riding to the grocery store or library daily. A well respected retired teacher in Gilroy for 33 years, he continued teaching as a volunteer at the library.

He will always be remembered as a loving father and grandfather, whose greatest passion in life was helping others.

The Memorial service and celebration of his life will take place Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Forest Park Inn meeting room, 375 Leavesley Road, Gilroy.
