Entered into rest on October 17th, 2010 in New Braumfels, Texas. Beloved son of Chris Nunez and the late Ramona Nunez. Beloved husband of Kim Nunez. Loving father of Michael, Laura and Carolyn Nunez. Cherished grandfather of Sheila, Celby, Maverick and Brady Nunez. Dearest brother of Daniel, Christine and the late Michael Nunez. He is survived by Aunts, Mary Lu Lopez, Lupe Avena, Polly Mercado, Yolanda De La Cruz and Esther Rivera and Uncles, Nick, Jesse, Pedro, Bonifacio Jr. Altamirano, Joe, Pedro and Manuel Baltazar. Chris was a 1971 graduate of Santa Clara High School. After high school he enlisted in the U. S. Air Force. After his discharge from the Air Force he was employed by the U. S. Post Office for 26 years. Chris had a love of music and enjoyed playing the guitar.

Visitation will be Monday, October 25, 2010, beginning at 3:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 4th Street, Gilroy, CA with the vigil service at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 11 First Street, Gilroy, CA at 10:00 A.M. followed by burial at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Gilroy, CA.
