Obituary

Cheryln Gardner, beloved wife and mother, passed away at her home on October 21st at the age of 77, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Her devoted husband and caregiver, Fred, was with her until the end.

Cheryln Claudette Tipton was born in Salinas on October 19, 1944 to loving parents, Dorothy and H.B. Tipton. She grew up in Salinas and married Fred Gardner in1964. Together they raised a family, traveled the world, and served God in everything they did. Their happy, loving marriage lasted 57 years.

Cheryln is survived by her husband Fred, their two daughters, Danyelle and Senta, and eight grandchildren: Olivia, Brynne, Isabella, Johannah, Gianni, Angelina, Bryce, and Giorgio.

Cheryln lived a rich, enthusiastic life; she loved singing, dancing, working in her garden, riding horses, and doting on her pets. She loved being active and eating healthy foods. She found her life's calling when she began studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses and dedicated herself to studying and spreading the word of God, living out its teachings and helping others learn the message of the scriptures as she had. She touched many through her ministry and lived with the unwavering faith that God's promises will all come to pass and she looked forward to the time when: "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, Death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Rev 21:4

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
