Chuck died peacefully at home after suffering from cancer for the past year. He will be remembered as an advocate for the ocean and its marine life. Chuck went scuba diving almost every weekend in Monterey or Carmel for more than 17 years. He was an excellent photographer both on land and underwater.
After graduating from Stanford University with a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MS in Electrical Engineering, Chuck started his career with IBM Corporation spending 42 years there. During that time, he acquired five patents. He truly loved his job.
Surviving Chuck are his wife, Linda Reisinger; brothers Jim Tribolet of Phoenix, AZ; David Tribolet (Andrea) of San Diego, CA; Michael Tribolet (Mindy) of Houston, TX; an aunt, Georgia Lewis, of Tuscon, AZ; cousin Marilyn Rakich of Phoenix, AZ; and nephews and nieces: Jack, Max, Lila, Hannah, and Quinn.
Family would appreciate donations to the Monterey Bay Aquarium in his honor.
