Obituary
Carol Lynn Bristow, 62, passed away February 25, 2010, at her home in Aromas, CA.
Carol was a graduate of Porterville High School in Porterville, CA in 1966. She continued her education at UC Santa Barbara where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. After receiving her Masters' Degree in Library Science at UCLA, she was one of the first employees hired at Evergreen Valley College where she continued her career for 35 years. She retired last June.
In addition to her work, she was active in local artisan groups as well as animal rescue organizations.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Gib and LaVonne Bristow. She is survived by her brother, Bill, of Porterville, CA.
Services will be held, Monday, March 8, at 7:00pm at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 Fourth Street in Gilroy, CA. Viewing will begin at 1:00 pm. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Animal Friends Rescue Project at P.O. Box 5183, Pacific Grove, CA 93950.
