Carmen Carrasco Zamarron 76, of Phoenix Az. (formerly of Gilroy, Ca) was called up to heaven on October 28, 2020 at home surrounded by her family in Phoenix, Az.
There will be a mass at St.Mary's Church (outside) on Tuesday November 10, 2020 at 10:am. The burial will follow at St.Mary's Cemetary where she will be laid to rest.
Carmen was born in Phoenix, Az, she settled in Gilroy, Ca as a teenager with her mother and siblings. She worked at Pic-n-Pac and went to Live Oak High School graduated in 1962.
She got married 1964, she worked at South Valley Refuse & Disposal in Gilroy for 28 yrs. she loved her job up until she retired. She is loved by all who knew her she had a big presence wherever she went. She is survived by her children Carmen "Carmelita" Zamarron, phoenix, Richard C. Zamarron phoenix, Joaquin C. Zamarron (Katherine) Gilroy, Gregory C. Zamarron gilroy, Tillie Martinez (Tony), Az, Rachel B. Zamarron, Wa. Her siblings Rudy Carrasco (Hopisa) Tracy, C, Linda C. Rodriquez (Julian) Hollister, Ca
and many Grandchildren, great grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She was loved by her many cousins, nephews and nieces. she was preceded in death by her mother Susana Carrasco, her siblings, Robert Carrasco, Elena Carrasco, Alicia C. Ponce, and her husband Richard G. Zamarron. Our mother was a loving, fair beautiful woman who never judged anyone, she had her door open to anyone who needed her. Her favorite place in the world was Monterey beach where she loved to go at nite especially during rain season. She had her faith a devout Catholic and would attend services up until the covid-19 pandemic. It is very hard to see her go, bye for now mama we love with all our heart see you soon.
