IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Camille Ladion
Bagood
July 21, 1943 – December 14, 2022
Rest in Peace Camille L. Bagood also known as Meilng. Her roots were in Gilroy, California where she will be laid to rest with her grandfather, Felipe Ladion, as known as "Pops". Camille passed away peacefully on December 14, 2022 at the age of 79. She is preceeded in death by her father, Julio; mother, Pastura and brother, Phillip and her cherished chubby cats, Fat Cat and Kimiko. She is survived by nieces, Rachel, Elizabeth, Alicia, a nephew, Phillip, cousins and many friends who were like family.
She worked for Pacific Bell for many years before retiring. Then worked for Mission College before retiring again.
While Santa Clara Valley may have been her home, she traveled the world. Not just for business but for fun and enjoyment and inspiring so many people over her decades of living.
Camille lived a full life traveling and even in her ladder years she went white water rafting! Going to events in Denver, San Diego, Seattle and many other places including Europe and China.
A happy smile was her trademark signature on greeting cards. She had an open heart, an intelligent mind, a well-read person. Always there to lend a hand and to give of her experience, strength and hope.
This is just a partial tribute to her many years of service. Whether it was at the college level at Mission Community College, her faith community at Transfiguration Church in San Jose or her service in Al-Anon and Alateen. She spent 40+ years as an Al-Anon and Alateen Sponsor. She spent her time spreading the word on helping families deal with Alcoholism. She was active in retreats, workshops, meetings, conferences and driveway sales.
In lieu of flowers donations to Mission Community College may be made in her name at: https://donate.wvm.edu/donate-now
