Bobby Lee O'Neal, born September 14, 1932, in Dennison, Texas, died May 8, 2018, in Hollister, California, peacefully, with dignity, and surrounded by family. Bob was a proud combat veteran of the Korean War, having served in the United States Marine Corps as a machine gunner. He settled in Gilroy, California with his parents in 1937. He also contributed to his community as a contractor and a fire emergency medical technician. He is survived by his loving wife, Susanne O'Neal; his children, LeAnn O'Neal, Bobby O'Neal, Cary O'Neal, Matt O'Neal, Carol Hamrick, Tanja Weatherford, and Bobby Ross; his siblings Christine, Leon, and Patricia; 22 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Williams & John O'Neal; his former wife, Joyce Green; his sisters, Rema Young & Sylvia O'Neal; his brother, Karl O'Neal; and his son, Warren O'Neal. Bob will be remembered for his intellect, humor, devotion to his family and friends, and love for his country.

Memorial service will be held at the VFW Hall in Gilroy, California, at 11am, Saturday, May 26th.
