Beth "Joan"  Bozzo, Gilroy, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 17, 2018.  She was 83 years old.  She is survived by her sister Pauline (Jerry) Hillisheim, sons David (Leslie) Bozzo, Bob (Toni) Bozzo, Ed Bozzo, Frank (Michele) Bozzo, Jim (Noreen) Bozzo, Terry Bozzo, and Gary Bozzo. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.     She was preceded in death by Parents Clarence and Lily Ackerson, Husband Eugenio (Jim) Bozzo, Brothers Richard Ackerson, Daniel Ackerson, and Wade Ackerson.

Born, Beth Joan Ackerson, September 25, 1934 in Los Angeles to Clarence (Whitey) and Lily Ackerson. She moved to Gilroy in 1944 and graduated from Gilroy High School. She married the love of her life Eugenio (Jim) Bozzo on December 14, 1952. They raised 7 sons.

Her greatest joy was her love of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. She loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed spending time with her sister Pauline.  One of her favorite things to do was play cards.

She will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 10:00 am at Habing Family Funeral Home.
