Loving mother to son John (Patty) Marfia and daughter Patty (Bruce) Nicholson. Doting Grandmother to Michele (Mike) Marini, Melissa (Jeff) Aguirre, Marc Nicholson, Sarah (Adam) Smith, Joseph Marfia and Johnnie Marfia. Loving Great-Grandmother to: Trevor, Giavanna, Dominic, Mikayla, Rocco, Nolan and Nico. She is preceded in death by her best friend and husband of 54 years, John Marfia and Grandson Johnnie Marfia.

Bernice was born in Fowler, California in 1927. She married her husband and moved to Gilroy in 1951 where she raised her family. She loved spending time with her family, friends, cooking and gardening.

Services will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Gilroy on Tuesday, January 18th. Visitation begins at 9am and Mass starts at 10am.
