Beatriz P. Sandoval

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Beatriz P. Sandoval. Beatriz peacefully passed away on Día de la Virgen de Guadalupe on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the age of 82.

Beatriz was born on August 28, 1943, in Yzote, La Yesca, Nayarit, to Guadalupe Perez and Maria G. Diaz. Beatriz is survived by her husband, Hermenegildo Sandoval, her five sons: Refugio, Eduardo, Isidro, Miguel, and Isidoro; her eleven grandchildren: Christian, Brianna, Isabela, Natalia, Adrian, Isidro, Angelina, Mateo, Annalise, Lila, and Isael; and her six siblings; Isidro, Clemente, Celedonio, Inez, Olivia, and Eliceida.

Beatriz was a devoted mother and grandmother – each of them lucky enough to have grown up in a home surrounded by the aroma of handmade corn/flour tortillas and freshly made salsas. She cooked the best homemade posole and pork tamales around for special occasions throughout the years, left warmth everywhere, and lived a simple life with her loving family.

A rosary service will be held at Habing Family Funeral Home on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 7:00 pm. A church service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 10:00 am, followed by a graveside service at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.

Con un gran dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida madre, Beatriz P. Sandoval. Beatriz falleció en paz el Día de la Virgen de Guadalupe, el 12 de diciembre de 2025, a la edad de 82 años.

Beatriz nació el 28 de agosto de 1943 en Yzote, La Yesca, Nayarit, hija de Guadalupe Pérez y María G. Díaz. Le sobreviven su esposo, Hermenegildo Sandoval, sus cinco hijos: Refugio, Eduardo, Isidro, Miguel y Isidoro; sus once nietos: Christian, Brianna, Isabela, Natalia, Adrián, Isidro, Angelina, Mateo, Annalise, Lila y Isael; y sus seis hermanos/hermanas: Isidro, Clemente, Celedonio, Inés, Olivia y Eliceida.

Beatriz fue una madre y abuela dedicada: cada uno de sus hijos/nietos tuvieron suerte y el privilegio de crecer en un hogar lleno del aroma de tortillas hechas a mano de maíz y harina, y de salsas recién preparadas. Cocinaba el mejor pozole casero y los mejores tamales de cerdo de la zona para ocasiones especiales, dejaba calidez en todos los lugares y vivió una vida sencilla junto a su querida familia.

El servicio de rosario será el 29 de diciembre de 2025, a las 7:00 p.m., en Habing Family Funeral Home. La misa se celebrará el 30 de diciembre de 2025, a las 10:00 a.m., en la Iglesia Católica de Santa María (St. Mary’s Catholic Church), seguida de una ceremonia de entierro en Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
