Barney Frank Ferranti passed away March 1, 2010. He is survived by his wife Sandra L. Ferranti of San Martin; his children Robert, Stephen, Karen and Janine; brother Donald and nephew Jeff; preceded in death by his son Richard, parents Mario and Inez Ferranti and brother Henry.
Barney graduated from Hartnell College and served in the US Army from 1953-1955 stationed in Germany. He returned to Gilroy establishing a mechanics business. He remained a mechanic for over 50 years specializing in the repair of farm equipment.
Private family services will be held at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
