Barbara Peurifoy

Barbara Peurifoy, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on September 22 at the age of 80.

Born in Fontana, California, Barbara lived a life centered on family, caring for others, and a deep appreciation for the people she loved.

Barbara shared nearly 50 years of marriage with her husband, Andy. Together, they built a life filled with family, travel, and many cherished memories.

Barbara was the proud mother of five children. She was preceded in death by her sons, Timothy and John, who passed shortly after birth, as well as her brother, Dick. She is survived by her husband, Andy; her children, Nicole, Andrew, and Christopher; her seven grandchildren, Ava, Ian, Jennifer, Jessica, Ashley, Evelyn, and Celine; her siblings, Cecilia, Tony, and Jim; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Her grandchildren held an especially meaningful place in her heart and were among the greatest joys of her life.

Barbara was immensely proud of her career as a nurse and nursing instructor. Her dedication to caring for others and educating future nurses reflected the compassion, strength, and commitment that were so much a part of who she was.

She enjoyed traveling, reading, walking, listening to music, and, most of all, spending time with her family. From camping trips to family gatherings and travels together, she leaves behind a lifetime of memories that those who loved her will continue to carry forward.

Barbara's life was defined by the family she loved, the people she cared for, and the many lives she touched throughout her 80 years.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.
